Abstract:
Malignancy is one of the most frequent cause of death in children -in U.S. it is the second common cause (second to Tranma). Between childhood malignancy leukemia is by far the mO'st frequent one and C.N.S. tumors take the second place -abdominal tumor remain the third common cause of children's malignancy -Retroperitoneal space with organs like, kidney, adrenal gland, sympatheti nervous system and fatty arealar tissues is the site of the majority of children's N eoplaEm·s. The key to the successful treatment is early diagnosis. In this paper, the clinical manifestation of these tumors, the approach to diagnosis and the treatment of the most frequent solid tumors are des·cribed. The illustrations are all from the personal experience of the author.
